David Spiller
Managing Partner
David Spiller is the Managing Partner of Spiller & Spiller and has practiced law in Jack County and throughout Texas since 1986. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (B.B.A., 1983) and St. Mary’s University School of Law (J.D., 1986), David brings nearly four decades of broad-based legal experience to the firm.

David is a seasoned trial attorney and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). He is also an advanced credentialed mediator, having successfully mediated over 1,000 cases across a wide range of civil disputes. His practice spans litigation, real estate, governmental entities, healthcare, family law and general civil matters.
​
He currently serves as the City Attorney for the City of Jacksboro, a role he has held since 1987, and has served as General Counsel to the Jack County Hospital District since its inception in 1990. David is AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has received multiple honors for legal excellence and client service. In addition, David is President of Spiller Title—Texas’s oldest family-owned title company—continuing a legacy of trusted service in real estate transactions across the region.

In addition to his legal work, David currently represents House District 68 in the Texas House of Representatives, where he continues to advocate for the values and interests of rural Texans.

David and his wife, Ginger, are deeply committed to serving their community and their family. Together, they have raised two sons, Mason and Reid, and continue to invest their time and energy into causes that reflect their values of faith, service, and civic leadership.
